A Final Runner Up!

Following the test and tune on Wednesday we found a few minor issues to work on and these were pretty much resolved by raceday. We were able to maintain the consistency of tune up we found in the last meeting last year and can now work on finding that little extra to improve our ET. Doug got back in the groove of racing very quickly with consistently good reaction times including a 0.015 and 0.045. We managed to top qualify running 0.594 under index.

4pm - ET 6.356

6pm - ET 6.415  versus M Brennan

8pm - ET 6.312 Index 6.95 Solo

10pm- ET 6.552 Index 6.63  versus Robin Judd  in the A Final. Doug had the advantage on the tree and backed this up with a very stout 0.045 reaction time but the cooling track saw the altered loose in the top end and Robin slipping by for the win.
