B Final Runner Up!

1.30pm - 6.299 @ 215mph. We elected to run the early pass and despite another excellent pass an issue with the chutes saw Doug choosing between a high speed turn at the end of the track or parking in the sand. He chose the sand and the ensuing bagging from fellow crew members and between rounds clean up. THe 6.299 put as in the top qualifying spot.

4pm - ET 6.338 @ 211mph. Another pass under the record however no improvement on out 1.30pm pass.

6pm - ET 6.446 @ 311mph. With the top qualifying spot in relative safety Marc elected to make some changes to the clutch and fuel set up and gauge the result. Not really a positive outcome for the pass but all in the name of going faster long term.

8pm - ET 6.488 Index 6.95 verus Pat Carbone. Doug cut another solid 0.068 light and took the win putting us into the B Final.

10pm- ET 7.302 Index 6.71  versus Wayne Keys (Index 6.73) in  the B Final. In what was pretty much a heads up race of attrition. Both cars got loose and pedalled with Wayne coming out if in better shape and taking the win and Doug electing to coast over the line.
